Horizon needed a scalable design system to ensure consistency across its growing suite of digital products. The aim was to unify design elements while maintaining flexibility for future expansion.
We audited existing interfaces, defined core design principles, and developed reusable components that streamlined the design and development process. The challenge was creating a system that could adapt to evolving needs.
A brand within a larger system
The challenge was to respect a familiar team identity while updating it to feel at home within Boston Scientific’s visual language. The new direction needed to be clear, versatile, and capable of expressing both analytical rigor and cross-functional collaboration.

The chess pawn became the central motif. Alone, it can seem insignificant; within a coordinated team, it becomes a powerful part of a greater strategy. That parallel gave CSE a simple, memorable symbol for how thoughtful planning and shared effort create commercial impact.
The resulting identity gives the team a visual system that feels strategic and data-informed without becoming overly technical — a modern expression of the people, processes, and foresight working together behind Endoscopy’s commercial success.

Be the One Campaign
For Boston Scientific’s 2023 National Sales Meeting, I developed “Be the One” into a visual campaign about decisive action. The work asks every member of the Sales Force to be the person who steps forward in the moment — the one who does what needs to be done.
